Watching a DVRecording of the Tod Browning silent classic, The Unholy Three, I found myself marveling at its opening shot of a side show fat lady chatting with a rube, and I found myself wondering (as I do every time), “Who is that lovely (if perspiration sheened) lady?” IMDB had the answer, of course: t’was famous side show attraction Alice Julian, a.k.a. Alice from Dallas in her only credited movie appearance.
